The microwave motion sensor RCWL-0516 is based on the RCWL-9196 chip, which is equipped with a transmitter and receiver. The sensor will be triggered if the receiver receives a signal, the frequency of which is slightly different from the frequency of the transmitter signal. The sensor is based on the Doppler effect - a change in the frequency of the reflected wave due to the movement of the emitter, receiver or reflector. In this module, the frequency of the radio wave emitted by it changes due to the movement of the reflector (obstacle). Supply voltage from 4 to 28 V DC is supplied to the VIN and GND pins of the module.

Do not connect power to the "3V3" output of the module. The output of the "3V3" module is the output of a stabilized voltage of 3.3 V. It is possible to supply power to other low-power devices, for example, a microcontroller, from this voltage.
