Joystick PS2 KY023 For Arduino

1 USD

The joystick has 5 pins: VCC, GND, X (move along the X axis), Y (move along the Y axis) and Button. Connect the power supply and read the status of the current position of the joystick from the X, Y and Button terminals. At the outputs X and Y, the signal is differentiated, that is, it changes from the angle of the handle. When using a 5V supply, the default for analog pins X and Y will be 2.5V. When the joystick is moved to one side, the voltage will rise to 5V, when the joystick is moved to the other side, the voltage will drop to 0V. The pins connect to the analog inputs of the Arduino. In this way, you can get the exact position of the joystick handle and respond to the tilt angle, and not just to the fact that the handle is tilted.
